Little Explorer Days

About Little Explorer Days

Little Explorer Days run from 10.30am to 3.30pm. But the Science Mall opens as normal between 10am and 5pm, so there’s plenty of time throughout the day to explore.

Under 3s go free. For children (age 3-15), standard Science Mall entry is £9.00, and adults pay the standard Science Mall entry of £11.00.

If you have a Science Passport, you can use your Passport for admission as normal on Little Explorer Days so it's a perfect time to pick one up and make the most of these incredibly popular events.

24th & 25th February: Up, Up and Away
Air is everywhere! Find out how we use our lungs as we explore our huff and puff. Play and investigate with bubbles and things that fly!

WHAT'S ON
Animal Magic- Meet animals that jump and fly up in the air with Animal Magic.
Balloon Rockets- Learn about forces as we launch our balloon rockets into space.
Funnel Floaties- Make a fun foil floating game to take home.
Bubbleology- Create your very own bubble blower and stand inside a giant bubble!
Wind Socks- Design and make your own wind sock. Take it home and try it out on a windy day.
Paper Helicopters- Make your very own paper helicopter. Test it on our wind table to see it fly!
Up, Up and Away- Play and pretend. Will you be the captain of a plane or a helicopter pilot?

24th & 25th March: How Does Your Garden Grow
Join us as we investigate seeds, bugs and pollination to discover how our garden grows.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Little Explorer Days are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
