The 'Bonnie Prince' stayed little over a week in Glasgow but what a week that was! During this time, he met the love of his life, survived an assassination attempt and threatened to burn the city to the ground (luckily he changed his mind!).
Today we will follow in his footsteps through the town from Argyle Street to Glasgow Green. Along the way, we will encounter places associated with other historical personages such as Robert Burns, William Wallace, Oliver Cromwell and Sir Walter Scott. Should be a fascinating afternoon!
The total distance covered is about 2.5 miles(4K) and time duration 2 hours (approximately). Trainers suitable (preferably waterproof). Please dress according to the weather.
