Creative Sundays are fun and informal taster workshops inpired by the museum collections. Why not try a new craft in these one-day workshops. No previous experience needed all materials are provided.
We advise people to bring a packed lunch as there is no cafe facility.

Sunday 9th December: A Light in the Dark
An amazing opportunity to explore our collection of embossed metal artefacts, then learn the basic techniques and use them to build a seasonal candle lantern.
Sunday 20th January: Leatherworking
Explore some of the examples of this ancient craft in our collection then have a go at embossing and engraving your own piece of traditional craftwork.
Sunday 24th February: Stencilling
Take inspiration from our fascinating collection to create your own stencil to make your own masterpiece.
