Creative Sundays are fun and informal taster workshops inpired by the museum collections. Why not try a new craft in these one-day workshops. No previous experience needed all materials are provided.
We advise people to bring a packed lunch as there is no cafe facility.

Sunday 18th March: Exploring Still Life
An amazing opportunity to explore our collection of still life pictures, arrange real museum objects and draw your own still life composition.
Sunday 22nd April: String Time
Using our collection for inspiration, shape a picture board using panel pins and assorted strings and haberdashery.
Sunday 27th May: Book binding
Learn the art of bookbinding and make your own leather bound book.
Sunday 17th June: Tin Can Figures
Inspired by the artist Tom Deco enjoy a free tour and art workshop using recycled tin cans to recreate in miniature a table top tin can sculpture.
Sunday 8th July: Woodblock Printing
Woodblock printing is one of the oldest forms of printing. Come along, carve your own design into wood and then print it onto paper.
Sunday 26th August: The Art of Glass
Explore glass in the collection followed by an etching and glass painting workshop.
