About Diploma in Indian Head Massage

Indian Head Massage is the manipulation of superficial and deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue using various techniques to enhance function, aid in the healing process, decrease muscle reflex activity and promote relaxation and well-being.

Indian Head Massage is a holistic therapy that treats the whole upper body: back, shoulders, arms, neck, face and scalp, with the additions of marma points and chakra balancing giving both physiological and psychological benefits. The treatment can be performed with or without oil and seated or lying on a table.

This one day course runs between 10.30am-4.30pm.

This is an accredited four day indian head massage course. The prerequisites of this course are that the student holds an accredited body massage and anatomy and physiology certificate.

There are written exams and case studies required for this course. Certificate will be given on the day on completion of a successful practical and written assessment.
