About Lake of Stars Glasgow

LOS Glasgow is a one-day event happening in partnership with the Scotland Malawi Partnership on Sunday 11 March 2018 which champions creative and trade connections between Scotland and Malawi. Part of our 15 year anniversary celebrations next year, LOS will have a sequence of events in Zomba, London, Glasgow and finally on the shores of Lake Malawi in September.

Our Glasgow event will take place at The Art School from 11am to 2am and feature free daytime performances alongside a Malawi Market, followed by a ticketed evening concert with special guests Scott Hutchinson lead vocalist of Frightened Rabbit, Ghanaian hip hop artist M.anifest, Malawi's Faith Mussa Official, poet Michael Pedersen of Neu Reekie & DJ Auntie Flo among other acts from Zambia and South Africa.

The event will kick-start Scotland's Buy Malawi Week and feature products from Malawi such as rice, gin, coffee, tea and Nali chilli sauce promoting trade, travel and culture between Scotland and Malawi.
