Glasgow Horror Festival: Bite Size

About Glasgow Horror Festival: Bite Size

Glasgow Horror Festival is back for 2018! Expanding on our successful Halloween season horror festival, Popcorn Horror is proud to launch Glasgow Horror Festival: BITESIZE.

We know that horror is for life, not just for Halloween! Glasgow Horror Festival: BITESIZE is there to fill the long months between Halloweens, and provide a more condensed version of our annual October event. The mini-fest is set to take place in Blackfriars Bar, Bell Street on Sunday 1st April.

There’s a lot packed in a single spooky evening though, with a horror feature double bill, two shorts programs, spectacular show from Ash Pryce featuring illusions and gore, and horror raffle - Plus opportunity to pick up Popcorn Horror merch (and, of course grab some popcorn).

As always, Popcorn Horror will be showcasing the very best of independent horror talent, films which are innovative, inspiring and horrific. Glasgow Horror Festival aims to prove that creativity and quality filmmaking do not require a Hollywood budget, and to showcase horror outwith mainstream franchises to our local audience.

As well as the line up consisting of independent horror feature films and shorts programs, the mini-fest will kick off with Pryce’s praised show ‘Adventure’s With The Dead‘ – inspired by old school seances and horror hosts. Pryce is the creator and star of the sell out shows The Twilight Séance and Keep Calm and Scary On - as well as being the founder of Edinburgh Horror Festival. His BITE SIZE performance is a new show delving into the world of Spirit communication, ghosts, ghouls and witchcraft. Mixing a unique style of mentalism and magic, with tales of the supernatural, this show is packed with paranormal illusions both new and classic.
Join us this April 1st for an evening packed with spooks and thrills in the heart of Glasgow, surrounded by your fellow horror fans, freaks and geeks of the city.
