Junior Rangers for 13 - 18 year old's to learn about Nature conservation and different skills to use outdoors.
Pre-booking is required.

5th May: Getting To Know Castlemilk Park
Looking and learning about maps, learning about the history of Castlemilk Park and its key tree species.
9th June: Species at Castlemilk Park
Learn about the various animal species that live within the park.
4th August: Practical Conservation
Learning about tools used in habitat management.
1st September: Bat Walk
Learning about bats and what kind are found in the park and why all bats are protected.
6th October: Recreation and Visitor Management
Learning about the importance of the Scottish Outdoor Access Code.
3rd November: Being Outdoors
Learning about navigation and some basic first aid that can be used outdoors.
