About Glasgow Film Festival: Modern Families

Young cinephiles and family audiences have a feast of delights awaiting them at GFF18.

We celebrate the 30th anniversary of Willow with a special screening featuring funfair performers at Kinning Park Complex.

Equally exciting is the UK premiere of Mary and the Witch’s Flower, which sees Studio Ghibli’s Hiromasa Yonebayashi follow When Marnie Was There with a beautifully told tale of magic and wonder.

And with our ever-popular, free Take 2 screenings each Saturday morning there’s something for all tastes, at pocket money prices.

3 March: Kinning Park Carnival: Willow (PG)
‘Magic is the bloodstream of the universe. Forget all you know, or think you know. All that you require is your intuition.’

24-25 February: Mary and the Witch's Flower (N/C 5+)
Embark on a thrilling adventure for all ages, from former Studio Ghibli director

24 February: Take 2: The Oddsockeaters (N/C 5+)
You get dressed in the morning and discover a drawer full of odd socks. Where do the other ones go?

3 March: Take 2: War of the Buttons - 35mm (PG)
War between two groups of boys in rural Ireland consists of stealing buttons from each other's clothing

3-4 March: The Big Bad Fox and Other Tales (N/C 5+)
The latest treat from the creators of Ernest & Célestine.
