About Stencilling Mackintosh Discovery Day

Elisabeth Viguie Culshaw is a stencilling artist with 30 years experience in recreating Mackintosh's designs in the artist's own studio in the West end of Glasgow.
You will be welcomed in the artist studio with a warm cup of fresh coffee and home baking and after a brief introduction to the day you will make your way to a Mackintosh designed building where stencilling can be found. (The Mackintosh House, The Hill House, The House for an Art Lover...)
After the visit you will return to the artist studio where, after lunch. you will be practising stencilling. Traditional Glasgow styles stencil designs will be available for you to try. You will stencil on paper and fabric.
Some of the art work you will produce on the day will be incorporated in an installation in Glasgow linked with The Big Mac Project in October 2018 to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Mackintosh.
Are included all material, entry fee for the venue visited, lunch, tea and coffee. This workshop will run with a minimum of two participants.
This workshop/discovery day runs on the third friday of each month between May and October 2018 as part of "The Big Mac" project. #MACKINTOSH150
Upon request Elisabeth will organise this workshop on required dates for a minimum of 3 participants.
