Have you ever gotten into an arguement over which video game controller is best?
Do you think you can do better than the boffins over at Nintendo, Sony, or Microsoft?
Well with the help of a little gadget called a Makey Makey we are giving you the chance to prove to everyone that you have the BEST idea for a video game controller!
Firstly we'll take you through the design aspect of making your own controller, sketching it out and perfecting it. Next we'll help you to fabricate it using reclaimed materials, cardboard and foil. Then we'll teach you about how a Makey Makey works and hook you up so that you can use your all new creation to play your favourite retro game.
This course is suitable for ages 8+ and is only limited by your own imagination!

And the fun doesn't stop there! During each class we will have our very own Giant Nes Controller for you to play with. This amazing build project measures 1.5 metres long and was originally created by R-CADE owner Androo for use with the Makey Makey before being upgraded to work with an original NES game console. Learn more about how it works and try it out for yourself.
Additional Dates: 12 April 2018
