Plant Sale

The RSPB Glasgow Group's final fund raising activity this season will be a Plant Sale, which will be held in Milngavie Shopping Precinct on Saturday 19th May!

Plant Sale

About Plant Sale

We aim to start at 10am, finishing no later than 4pm, earlier if we have sold all our plants!
Donations of plants would be most welcome.

It would be great to see as many people as possible turn out to support the event. All proceeds will of course be going to the RSPB.

For those using public transport, there is a half hourly bus service to Milngavie leaving Buchanan Street Bus Station, the route is via Maryhill Road, Canniesburn Toll, and then up Milngavie Road. There is also a train service every 15 minutes, alternately departing from the low level platforms at Glasgow Central and Queen Street Stations and calling at Partick, Hyndland, Anniesland and Westerton Stations amongst others.

If travelling by car, there are several car parks available, all within easy reach of the pedestrian precinct.

We are aiming to sell perennial plants and shrubs, (rather than bedding/annual plants which can probably be sourced readily and cheaply from supermarkets and other retail outlets).

We will also be promoting the work of the Society and our Group's activities, so why not pop along and say hello.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Plant Sale are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
