Animaltastic

During April and May, Make Do and Grow's Saturday afternoon arts and crafts workshops will have a different 'Animaltastic' theme each week!

Animaltastic

About Animaltastic

21st April - Underwater fun
Make a set of wonderfully flingable sock octopus from our scrap and reusable materials, then see how many you can get in the bucket.

28th April - Woodland Faces
Make your own animal mask, complete with fake fur, using our scrap card and fabrics. Owl, fox, badger or even toad?

5th May – Show- time
Make a set of animal finger puppets and put on your own play with our scrap fabrics. Easy sew by hand. Pre-cut holes and safety needles for smaller fingers.

12th May – Feeding time
Make and decorate your own bird feeder from our collection of scrap and reusable materials.

19th May – Fantastical beasts
Join us for an hour of crafty fun with dragons and unicorns.

We love doing activities as a family so parents and carers are requested to stay and enjoy the creative fun.

We have a small seating area and toys within the workshop for those families with younger children and babies. Children are also free to play with the toys in our shop area and draw on our chalkboard wall.

Make Do & Grow is a not-for-profit social enterprise focussed on supporting growing families, developing creativity and encouraging reuse.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Animaltastic are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
