Tales from the Battlefield

The Battlefield Collective presents an evening of readings, songs and the BARD at The Glad Cafe as part of this year's Southside Fringe Festival!

Tales from the Battlefield

About Tales from the Battlefield

Local authors Alex Meikle and Frank Chambers read excerpts from their new novels, both set in the Southside. Meikle's “Deception Road” follows an MI5 agent in the wake of a devastating terrorist attack. Chambers' “Lost on Main Street” sees a musician turn detective to expose an elaborate scam. The Menshies will sing some Glasgow songs and there will be a preview of the play “Reggae Burns” where Rabbie prepares to sail for Jamaica.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Tales from the Battlefield are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
