From Pulp to Print - Eco Print Your Hand Made Paper

About From Pulp to Print - Eco Print Your Hand Made Paper

A great opportunity to map your own unique Eco experience incorporating handmade papers and beautiful and unique Eco Prints using local Botanical material.

Alison, of PULP Studios will work with you on day 1 to produce quality handmade papers in a variety of sizes, using a variety of pulps coming from around the world. Once dry, a selection of these unique and experimental papers can be used to create your unique prints the following day.

On day 2, Elisabeth from The Lansdowne House of Stencils will introduce a range of Eco Printing techniques allowing you to create unique monoprints using botanical material. If time allows we will fold and stitch some of those in a simple but unique sketchbook of your art work. Each print produce will be unique both from the paper and the mark realised. Local Scottish leaves will be used for this.

This will be a relaxed and informative weekend, where you will have the opportunity to learn new skills in paper and Eco Printing, and leave with several unique / individual items for yourself or to give as a gift, plus the skills to make many more.

PULP Studio is a specialised workspace dedicated to paper art and books - it is easy to access and a comfortable space to work in. Tea and coffee will be provided on both days but participants are asked to bring their own packed lunch. Local free parking is available. This space is suitable for wheelchairs. Beginners are welcome.

We also invite you to bring along some of your favorite leaves to use for your printing or any special paper you might want to print on day two. All other materials and equipment will be provided.

Workshop takes place 10am-4pm on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st October.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for From Pulp to Print - Eco Print Your Hand Made Paper are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
