Saturdays | 1030 – 1600

13th & 20th Oct

Using a purpose built, small scale mobile foundry you will learn the basics of running a furnace for non-ferrous metal casting and make your own aluminum sculpture.

With regards to the constantly evolving social and cultural politics that define specific, often civic spaces Virginia Hutchison works with a range of media, including text, film and performance and object making, to explore the context of these sites. Virginia graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2004 with an MA in Sculpture and served on the board of directors at Glasgow Sculpture Studios.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Lost Foam Aluminium Casting with Virginia Hutchison are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
