About Glasgow Live Productions presents: Green Day’s American Idiot

Glasgow Live Productions presents Green Day’s ‘AMERICAN IDIOT.’ Featuring songs from Green Day’s best work including, ‘American Idiot’, ‘Boulevard of Broken Dreams’, ‘Wake Me Up When September Ends,' and many more.

Taking place in Trump’s America, a landscape defined by media bias, propaganda, and fake news. Three boys from a small American town make a pact to set out to big city life with a dream of changing the world and making their voices heard, but modern life soon jeopardizes all they hold dear.

Relishing in the creative freedom outlined by Michael Mayer and Billy Joe Armstrong’s book – GLP promise this is a version of the musical unlike any other.

We hope you join us to rock out, and experience a story which not only sheds further light on a western world in a state of crisis, but the difficulties that we all face when trying to change that world for the better, screaming at audiences one clear message – don’t just get angry, do something about it.
