Young_Arts: Star Candle Holder Making Session

About Young_Arts: Star Candle Holder Making Session

Although this is not therapy, our sessions go far beyond any art class your child will have been exposed to. It is a sensory delight with learning through experience. Our sessions have been carefully created with a strong influence of Waldorf education, where a holistic approach to exploring and learning through the arts is applied. Children are guided within a calming process through either play, drama or storytelling which will lead them to their creative activity.

Within this session young people will be encouraged to explore the qualities of light and darkness and what impact this may have on our wellbeing in general. We will work with geometric shapes and a slightly intricate folding process, which requires precise folding abilities and conceptual insight. 8+ in age. All materials included.

The sessions are run by an experienced anthroposohical therapeutic visual arts practitioner and an arts workshop facilitator with a degree in art history and currently enrolled in Museum Education. Both PVG registered.

This workshops is suitable for children aged 8+. If you have any queries, please contact us on: create@applyyourarts.com

Tickets can be purchased at: www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/star-candle-holder-making-session-young-arts-tickets-51103733643
