Diwali

Join the Dams to Darnley countryside rangers in partnership with Forestry Commission Scotland and a storyteller to celebrate Diwali, the Hindu and Sikh festival of light.

Diwali

About Diwali

Meet at the World Buffet restaurant car park, Corselet Road, Darnley G53 7RN.

Make a lantern and then head out for a walk around the country park as it gets dark. Brighten up the way with your creations to celebrate light over darkness, good over evil, knowledge over ignorance and hope over despair.

Throughout the year the countryside rangers will be delivering a series of community events, activities and guided walks for all the family.

All the events are FREE, although booking is required for some. Please contact the countryside ranger service to book places on a forthcoming event.

Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Diwali are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
