About Hamish Napier ‘The Railway’ with Claire Hastings
Sorry, but this event has been and gone!
Highland-born composer and multi-instrumentalist Hamish Napier performs his second solo album, 2018’s The Railway, a musical commemoration of bygone Highland train routes and the people who worked on them, commissioned by Grantown East: Highland Heritage & Cultural Centre. Its vividly evocative suite of tunes and songs also features Patsy Reid, Ewan Robertson, James Lindsay, Findlay Napier and Fraser Stone.
Also on a travelling theme, former BBC Young Traditional Musician of the Year Claire Hastings launches her second album Those Who Roam, a set of traditional and original songs exploring journeys of different kinds, with accompanists including guitarist Jenn Butterworth and pianist Tom Gibbs.
While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Hamish Napier ‘The Railway’ with Claire Hastings are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
