Twelfth Night

The Glasgow University Shakespeare Society is proud to present Twelfth Night at Cottiers, directed by Rebecca Russell and with a brand new musical score by Anna Wood.

Twelfth Night

About Twelfth Night

Shipwrecked and separated from her twin brother, Viola disguises herself as a man in order to survive. Unfortunately, she falls for her new employer, the lovesick Count Orsino, who pines hopelessly for the Lady Olivia. Meanwhile, the inhabitants of Olivia's household are engaged in a plot to humiliate her puritanical servant, Malvolio.

Reset in the 1920s, using the musical styles of the time and featuring a live band, Twelfth Night combines melancholy and mirth in equal measure, and meditates on themes of grief and unrequited love.

Tickets can be purchased from https://cottiers.com/events/twelfth-night-2/ and will cost £8, £7 for concessions (including a booking fee).

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Twelfth Night are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
