About Repair Café Glasgow & Bike Repair with Soul Riders

Repair Café Glasgow is on a mission to save your items from waste! This month, we have teamed up with community bike project, SoulRiders Scotland for our first repair café of the new year! We will be fixing everything from your favourite ripped jeans to your beloved bicycle with a punctured wheel.

Our team of skilled volunteer repairers will be on hand to help you with your broken items, aiming to reduce waste, strengthen repair skills and create community through fixing. Our events are free so they remain accessible to everyone in our communities but we do take donations. We will have tea, coffee and delicious baked goods on the day.

If you've never been to our events before and have questions, take a look at our website to find out more information or send us a message.

Repair Café Glasgow is supported by the Climate Challenge Fund and the European Regional Development Fund. The Climate Challenge Fund provides grants and support for community-led organisations to tackle climate change by running projects that reduce carbon local emissions. The European Regional Development Fund comes from the European Structural and Investment Fund which helps to facilitate major investments to support transformational change and economic and social structural reforms across Scotland.

Soulriders vision is to create a stronger, healthier, more active community through cycling. They have a cycling centre in the south-side of Glasgow where they refurbish donated bikes that can then be given back to the community, carry out repairs on both members and the public bikes and offer mechanical training. Check out their website for more details!

*It is important to note that the only accessible space at this event to those with mobility issues, is the bike repair station. Other repair stations are unfortunately up a set of stairs.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Repair Café Glasgow & Bike Repair with Soul Riders are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
