About Roaring fun at St. Enoch Centre this half-term
Sorry, but this event has been and gone!
Professor Jock McGillicuddy of the St. Andrews Institute will be stomping into the leading Glasgow shopping centre to show off his Jurassic fossils to Glasgow’s mini dinosaur enthusiasts on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th February.
Dino-fans of all ages are invited to the event between 12-4pm for a chance to learn about life millions of years ago by holding, handling and getting up-close and personal with Prof. McGillicuddy’s fascinating findings as well as enjoying arts, crafts and other (Tricera)tops activities.
The fun continues between Monday, 11th and Wednesday 13th of February with additional dinosaur arts and craft workshops being held on the ground floor of the centre next to Boots between 12-4pm.
There will be also be a Dippy pop-up-store located alongside the half-term activities, packed full of Dippy and dinosaur goodies.
Anne Ledgerwood, general manager of St. Enoch Centre, said: “Dinosaurs are always an engaging topic for kids and with Dippy gracing Glasgow for the first stop in his UK tour, this half-term is the perfect time to embrace the fun and educational pre-historic world.
“Half-term is always a busy time of year in the centre and we look forward to welcoming shoppers, adventurers and budding paleontologists alike.”
The half-term events are free to attend. Professor Jock McGillicuddy’s educational show and tell and arts and crafts workshops will take place on the ground floor next to Boots and will run from 12 – 4pm on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th February.
