About Wine For Beginners - A Night Of Wine Tasting And Canopés

Wish you knew more about wine?

What's a "good nose"? What does it mean when a wine has 'body' and 'legs' If its out of a box can it be good? If it’s made of grapes, how can wine taste like tabacco?

Helping you navigate the wine rack and see beyond the nice label will be Merchant City Wine Tasting who have been hosting wine tastings throughout Glasgow and have a wealth of knowledge. They will introduce you to 6 types of wines from assorted regions, you will learn how the growing conditions of each region produce distinctive characteristics in every bottle and the goal is to send you on your way with a better understanding of wine, the language used to describe it and set you on a journey to discover your favourite plonk. Your ticket also includes canapés prepared by our chefs and recommended by the experts to match your wines.

Tickets are available from Eventbrite, this is an 18+ event.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Wine For Beginners - A Night Of Wine Tasting And Canopés are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
