School Of Folk offers three days of music tuition and fun for intermediate to advanced adult learners in Glasgow’s vibrant west end with some of Scotland's finest folk musicians!

You can have whistle lessons with Breabach's Calum MacCrimmon, mandolin with Kinnaris Quintet's Laura-Beth Salter, accordion with Tracherous Orchestra's John Somerville and maybe learn The Road to Errogie with the composer himself, Adam Sutherland, who will be teaching fiddle.

In the mornings you will get to work on technique and repertoire in your chosen individual instrument workshops before putting that all to use in our brand new School of Folk Orchestra. There'll also be sessions, a concert & ceilidh, pints, stovies, prize raffle and more.

All events will be held in venues around the west end of Glasgow, and easy to travel to by public transport from the city centre. Classes are instrument specific and aimed at intermediate level, but all welcome.
