About Glasgow School of Art MFA

Each screening will have a selection of artists showing recent moving image works that consider similar themes running through the artist’s practices.

For the first screening, new works by Rachel McBrinn, Sam Dransfield, Zoe Kirkwood, Maria Filippou, and Lauren La Rose explore issues of borders, supermarkets, new fictions, flies, and ghosts.

For the second screening, Hio, Sun Lee, Darae Baek and Jing Xie present works that explore ideas about selfhood, identity and the body.

For the final screening, McGilvary/White and Renèe Helèna Browne present new works that together consider ideas around queerness, desire and romance.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Glasgow School of Art MFA are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
