About Passio: Music for Holy Week
iuchair present a reflective concert of English 16th-century music for Holy Week, composed by Gentlemen of the Chapel Royal. Latin Passiontide motets by Thomas Tallis, William Byrd, John Sheppard and Robert Parsons integrated within Byrd's rarely-performed St John Passion. iuchair are really excited to be rejoined by Valerie Turnbull and Ava Dinwoodie for this programme of Lenten music.
