Slomatics + Headless Kross + Dead Otter

About Slomatics + Headless Kross + Dead Otter

Bringing new meaning to the term ‘heavy’ since 2004, Slomatic's catalogue includes the unholy trilogy of A Hocht, Estron and Future Echo Returns. David, Chris and Marty are currently working on a new album to follow last year’s acclaimed Totems collaboration with Mammoth Weed Wizard Bastard. Absolutely crushing live and with a load of new songs - you don’t want to miss this.

Glasgow’s own psychedelic doom lords Headless Kross add to this killer line up. Formed in 2011, they’ve been bringing us monolithic slabs since the release of Bear. Their new album Projections II is almost ready to roll - this is the second part of this trilogy. On the Desertfest London line-up and supporting Bong in Glasgow in May, they are also playing Kozfest in July. Grab the chance to see them any time you can - you won’t regret it.

Unfortunately El Bastardo have had to pull out but luckily for us Glasgow space heads Dead Otter have stepped in to take their place. Inspired by Hillage, Black Sabbath, Groundhogs and Hawkwind they formed in 1994. Led by twin guitar from John Riddell and Omar Aborida (The Cosmic Dead), their rhythm section features Gavin Riddell on bass and Scott Falconer (ex-Los Destructos) on drums.
A force to be reckoned with live - do yourself a favour and check them out if you haven't already... https://dead-otter.bandcamp.com
