On Sunday the 21st of April, the artist will be presenting a talk about his practice and the work on display. McFie is a former Glasgow School of Art student, graduating in 1983, and studied painting/drawing under the likes of Barbara Rae and Jack Knox. McFie is also a professional musician (guitarist) playing with various artists throughout the years, notably The Big Dish, Craig Armstrong, Marianne Faithfull and The Bluebells.
