Da Capo Alba

Scotland's award-winning guitar and mandolin orchestra, Da Capo Alba, will perform at Cottiers on Sunday 16th June as part of this year's West End Festival!

Da Capo Alba

About Da Capo Alba

The concert programme will cover a wide range of musical tastes from folk, popular and classical music.

The orchestra has performed throughout the UK and abroad and has won a range of awards and has released two CDs which include film repertoire, pop and classical arrangements.

Our emphasis is to play well, but also to enjoy our music, and to produce a program which appeals to a wide range of musical tastes... And whatever your taste is, 35 mandolins, guitars and a bass on stage is simply awesome!

Special guests for this performance are:

Mairi McGillivray (Singer – mezzo soprano), Sarah McKay (Clarinet) and Finn McLean (classical guitar).

Finn is the 2019 winner of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland classical guitar competition for Junior Conservatoire.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Da Capo Alba are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
