Glasgow’s Pride March and Mardi Gla

Glasgow's Pride March will be held on Saturday 20th July kicking off at Kelvingrove Park before weaving its way into City Centre and George Square!

About Glasgow’s Pride March and Mardi Gla

Departing Kelvingrove Park 11:30am

The assembly point will be in Kelvingrove Park, for walking groups, and Kelvin Way, for floats.

The procession will then move from Kelvin Way to Sauchiehall Street turning right onto Blythswood Street and then left onto West George Street and finally onto George Square.

Floats will continue on West George Street to George Street where there are coach spaces for participants to dismount and rejoin any walking groups.

The start time is at 11:30 am this is one of two requirements, set by Glasgow City Council, to reduce disruption within the City Centre.

The second is that there is no noise on the route between West Nile Street and Dundas Street. It was felt that this would have had minimal effects on the procession and we have been happy to agree to this.

So we are all ready to go on the 20th of July – start thinking if you want to make any placards and get ready to march with Pride!

If you are just turning up with your mates – you do not need to REGISTER! Happy Pride!

Registration is only required for Local Groups and Commercial Organisations who would like to participate in this year’s Glasgow MARDI GLA Pride March on the 20th July 2019.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Glasgow’s Pride March and Mardi Gla are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
