Your Health is in Your Hands

About Your Health is in Your Hands

Good health is the wealth that money cannot buy, but it is definitely something where we can take a lot of responsibility for ourselves.

Physical, mental and emotional good heath can all be directly linked to lifestyle choices: what we eat, how we use our bodies, the company we keep, the images and beliefs we absorb and the people we respect.

Join us to explore a holistic and spiritual approach to taking charge of our life and the self-empowerment this then brings.

Dr Astrid Bendomir is a busy professional running her own medical health clinic in Aberdeen. An experienced Raja Yoga meditation student and teacher, Astrid organises meditation and personal development programmes and oversees Brahma Kumaris activities in Aberdeen. Astrid was born in Chile of German parents. She lived and studied in Peru, Spain and then Italy, where she studied medicine. In the UK, she studied for her post-graduate degree. She became a Senior Registrar in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and a Breast Surgery Fellow then moved into occupational health and Aviation Medicine. Before opening her own clinic, Astrid was a Medical Adviser to oil companies, working as part of an Emergency Response Team.
