They're back! These mini retreats offer the chance to take some time out for you to recharge your batteries, ease and stretch the body and calm the mind. What's not to love?
Autumn is a key time to take a breath after the exuberance of the summer and before the cold dark of winter, turning towards a more internal and restorative practice. Through deepening the breath and relaxing body and mind with an easing mix of qigong (mother practice of tai chi), seasonal vinyasa flow, pranayama (breathwork) and meditation, we will let stress melt away with special focus on the ultimate yoga power nap, yoga nidra. Over the last year I have continued my training in yoga nidra and look forward to offering you a deeply restorative relaxation based on this beautiful transitional time of year.
Autumn is very much time to let go of what no longer serves us, to pare down to what is essential, to what nourishes us. This afternoon is designed to offer exactly that: mindful movement, a delicious tea break with my special autumn brew to boost immunity and warm your toes, organic snacks, followed by a second half of safely tuning further inwards and deep relaxation, offering sanctuary
