About M Gallery Chilled Listening - Tony Morris ‘Hullo Michael, I Said’
Sorry, but this event has been and gone!
Chilled Listening events aim to provide an alternative way of experiencing music in a social setting. All the events will take place in the early evening, with a live performance followed by a discussion. We aim to be as open and inclusive as possible therefore we have no set ticket charge. You can pay as much or as little as you want or can afford. There will be a small BYOB charge however as we do not sell alcohol in the venue. We welcome children to all our events unless otherwise stated.
HULLO MICHAEL, I SAID.
‘“Hullo Michael,” I said’ is a 20 minute spoken/sung narration which portrays life as linear ie as one damned thing after another.
It is a work in progress. This will be its second live outing and adjustments have been made to the musical accompaniment since the first performance. Doubtless further adjustments will be made as a result of this performance in ‘M' Gallery.
Tony Morris is an avant-garde artist and a performer who uses electronic music to accompany sung and spoken works of his own composition. He hosts a monthly programme on London based radio station THREADS in which he interviews Glasgow based sound artists.
While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for M Gallery Chilled Listening - Tony Morris ‘Hullo Michael, I Said’ are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
