Springburn Youth Week

About Springburn Youth Week

Springburn Youth Week, is a week long event for the young people in our area. The young people of Springburn don't have any clubs or activities so we decided to take matters into our own hands and create them ourselves.

Springburn Youth Week runs from Monday 14th October to Saturday 19th October (October week for schools). Some of the activities we have are Net Day, Basketball, Movie Night, Parkour, Rowing, Anime Workshops and a Young People Day to finish of the week at Springburn Park.

These activities will take place all over Springburn in different venues so have a look at our week plan to find out where they are and if you need to book a place or not.

The most important part of our youth week is a survey we are creating to get the voices of the young people in Springburn heard, this survey will ask young people what they want in there area instead of adults just deciding what they want.

Springburn Youth Week is organised by young people for young people, we want our voices to be heard and this is how we want to do it. We would like to invite young people to come along to our activities during the week and also invite everyone to come along to Young People day on Saturday 19th October at 2-6pm to celebrate the amazing young people in our area.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Springburn Youth Week are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
