About Episode 10: A Means Without End
Sorry, but this event has been and gone!
Episode 10 continues Arika’s ground-breaking series of public programming, comprising 5 days of performances, discussions and screenings about how the emergent art and thought of collectivist desires, the complex flow of contemporary maths and the counterintuitive realities of particle physics help us grow the capacity to be one another’s means without end.
Episode 10 asks if these complex scientific theorems can provide generative analogies for reading the complex desires and struggles of social life. Or if their most disturbing findings might be poetic indicators of the impossibility of continuing with dominant ways of understanding existence. It emerges out of an ongoing international collaborative study group with internationally renowned philosophers, scientists and artists exploring the possible correlations between particle physics, conceptual maths and our ways of being together.
