About How To Become A Comic Book Legend with Nigel Parkinson (Beano), Gary Erskine (Marvel & DC) and Tom Foster

Nigel, is the official cartoonist for Beano drawing well- loved characters such as Dennis the Menace and Gnasher. He has also written and drawn 'Harry Hill's Adventures in TV Land" for The Dandy as well as drawing Thunderbirds, Baywatch and countless more! Gary, has illustrated for Marvel and DC Comics, worked on licensed properties such as Doctor Who, Star Wars, Star Trek, and Captain America, and contributed character designs for television, commercials and games development, as well as working on concept work for Sony and EA Games. Tom, has drawn comics for 2000AD and The Judge Dredd Megazine. He also produces comics tutorials for Imagine FX.
They will be on a panel giving the insider scoop on how they got to where they are offering practical tips and advice to get into the comic book industry. You will get the chance to choose from one these workshops: How to draw all things Beano! with Nigel Parkinson, How to storyboard for computer games, film & TV with Gary Erskine or How to tell an awesome story visually with Tom Foster.
As well as getting the chance to meet them and get any artwork signed. Plus there will be lots of stalls from upcoming artists and illustrators selling their work. Please note this event has an age limit: 16 - 30 years old only.
