Massive Outpouring of Love

About Massive Outpouring of Love

A gathering of some of Scotland’s top musical artists – Mairi Campbell, Christine Sparks, Harley Loudon, Kate Young – as well as storyteller, Alice Fernbank, and poet-performers Rachel Amey and Beth Godfrey, present a unique, one-night-only smorgasbord of love in support of XR’s climate change rebellion.

Compered by the inimitable poet and puppeteer, Elspeth Murray, you are invited to experience an evening of authentic love-bombing, intended to uplift, inspire, celebrate and get real about the necessity of love in these dark times. Recommended for doomers and non-doomers alike.

Mairi Campbell: 'A mesmerising performer…an exhilarating blend of music' (The Scotsman); 'National treasure' * (TheWeeReview.com)
Kate Young: ‘One of Scotland’s most innovative composers and musicians’
Christine Sparks: ‘World class quality of voice’ (Watt Nicoll)
Beth Godfrey: ‘Startlingly gifted’ (The Scotsman)
Rachel Amey: ‘Had the audience holding its breath in empathy’ (Joyce Mcmillan)
Harley Loudon: ‘Hauntingly beautiful voice’

All profits will go to Extinction Rebellion Scotland, to support their ongoing work in protesting against climate breakdown, biodiversity loss, and the risk of social and ecological collapse.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Massive Outpouring of Love are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
