Join us at South Block in Glasgow on Wednesday 22 May at 6.30pm for a playful workshop exploring the art of still life collage. You will take inspiration from the scenes set in front of you made using seasonal plants, fruits & vegetables to create a series of still life compositions using colourful paper stocks. Advance Booking is essential, spaces are limited.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
This event is for anyone ages 18+ interested in exploring collage and still life in a relaxing and welcoming environment. This workshop is suitable for all levels, no previous experience and skills are necessary.
MATERIALS
All materials will be provided. We recommend you bring a tote bag or a document folder to keep your artwork safe when you leave the workshop and make your way home.
ABOUT THE VENUE
The workshop will be taking place in the project space at South Block, which can be accessed via the Gallery space. The room is only accessible by a short flight of stairs, it’s not wheelchair accessible.
LOCATION & TRANSPORT
South Block is located at 60-64 Osborne Street, Glasgow G1 5QH. The venue's nearest subway station is St Enoch. NCP King Street is a large car park located just across the street from the venue and there is more street parking near the venue. The closest Nextbike Station is number 8230, it is located on King Street South, for more information visit Nextbike's website.
