Henry's Cellar Bar is one of Edinburgh's longest running independent venues. A central, intimate basement bar with a grass roots feeling hosting a varied programme of live music, clubs and other arts events, open until late at night (3am every Monday, Friday and Saturday, other days vary, please see events list for more details).
Flexible seating arrangements and an informal small dancefloor make the space equally suited for live music, nightclubs, comedy and other types of performance. We provide a home for artists and promoters that offer something unusual, new and exciting in Edinburgh.
With a diverse music policy our stage plays host to the acclaimed and the obscure, with many well known bands and clubs cutting their teeth in the intimate and unique confines of our cellar. We can promise that you'll be surprised by what you find at the bottom of those stairs ... Underground in all senses of the term.
The venue is available for external promoters to hire, please check our bookings page for more information.
All of our events currently are 18+ only.
All welcome, who welcome all... Paradise Palms is an LGBTQ friendly venue, all are welcome in our warm embrace so long as you mean no harm or ill will to others.
