Morningside United Church
About Morningside United Church
We are a diverse and lively congregation, of many different ages and stages in life, different backgrounds and different nationalities, different denominations even.
The central purpose of our church family is to love God and our neighbours and to seek to play our part in fulfilling Jesus’ great commission to make disciples of all nations. Jesus is the reason we exist as a family of believers and we are now seeking His unfolding vision for us so that we can be renewed and emboldened in our life and witness.
Every Sunday morning, we meet for worship at 11am. The worship life of our church is best described as 'evolving traditional'. We generally use CH4 in our services.
On the last Sunday of each month we celebrate Communion and four times a year we also hold an afternoon communion service.
During the service, the children have an opportunity to attend Church School, while babies and toddlers meet in the creche.
