Tai Chi originates from Chinese martial arts and is widely practised for health and wellbeing. As a mind and body practice, Tai Chi promotes relaxation and awareness, and improves mobility, balance, co-ordination, strength and stamina. Research suggests Tai Chi may help with a variety of health conditions.
Qigong (or Chi Kung) refers to a broad range of practices, which includes Tai Chi, and involves postures, movements, breathing exercises, meditative and imaginative practices used to cultivate and balance life energy, especially for health and wellbeing.
