Glasgow Children's Hospital Charities Easter Egg Run is back!
For more than four decades, thousands of families have enjoyed this incredible event where hundreds of bikers ride through the streets of Glasgow in a mile-long convoy of colour, noise, and smiles in support of our young patients.
If you're a motorcycle enthusiast then we'd love for you to join us for this special event.
This year's event is egg-stra special, as the parade will end at the Royal Hospital for Children!
There is no registration fee but we ask every biker to make a suggested donation of £10 on arrival to support our young patients at the hospital.
Fundraise at our Easter Egg Run!
If you'd like to take part in this year's Easter Egg Run, please consider raising sponsorship rather than bringing chocolate Easter Eggs. As many of our patients are on special diets or are "nil by mouth", they are unable to enjoy confectionary gifts.
An easy way to fundraise is by setting up a JustGiving page and asking all your friends and family to sponsor you for taking part! Financial donations mean that we can continue to fund state-of-the-art medical equipment, family support services and innovative play programmes to support our young patients, their families and the NHS heroes caring for them.
Bikers arrive at Glasgow Green from 10AM. The Easter Egg Run will leave from Greendyke Street at 11AM.
It will then go round to Saltmarket and onto Clyde Street before progressing along the Broomielaw and over the Squinty Bridge.
The bikers will then make their way down Govan Road to the Royal Hospital for Children where the children and their families will be able to witness the impressive convoy.
No bike? Join us at the children's hospital from 11am and welcome the parade as they approach the finish point.
The main entrance to the children’s hospital is on Hospital Boulevard which can be accessed from Hardgate Road or Renfrew Road.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
