TAKE PART IN OUR ANNUAL 5K RUN IN MEMORY OF MOIRA
Join us for Moiras' Run at Glasgow's Queen's Park, or virtually at a venue of your choice on Sunday 27th of October 2024.
The run raises money for The Moira Fund which has helped more than a thousand families in the UK affected by homicide. Grants from the charity can cover everything from funeral costs to clothes for attending court.
The charity was set up in memory of Moira Jones who was murdered in May 2008. Originally from Staffordshire, Moira had lived in Glasgow for five years at the time of her murder.
Help us celebrate Moira's life and raise funds to help others with this popular annual event.
If running isn't your thing then walk, skip, ski or samba and you can take part wherever you live in the world.
There are two options, enter to run/walk at Queens Park, Glasgow, or enter to complete the event virtually at a time and place of your own choice.
Entry fees are non refundable and non transferable.
Numbers will be available for collection on the day from 08.00 to 09.30 hours.
All participants will receive a medal. The run is open to anyone. Good luck!
We are very pleased to be working with Victim Support Scotland, who are covering all running costs of the event ensuring that all entry fees will go to The Moira Fund. We are very grateful for their support.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
