Unleash your wild side…
Join us for an evening celebrating adventure from some of the most spectacular places on earth, brought to you by the world's biggest mountain Festival - Kendal Mountain Festival.
A chance to watch a selection of award-winning films from high altitude adventure to cinematically beautiful tales showcasing wilderness and adventure travel from across the globe. Each film will be introduced by the Kendal Mountain Festival team.
The Guest Speaker:
We will also welcome the incredible alpinist and wingsuit BASE jumper Tim Howell to the stage. An unmissable evening as he talks about what it takes to be the first person to fly from Aconcagua, the highest mountain in South America, and what it takes to mitigate the risks of high altitude flights.
Tim was a Royal Marine commando for eight years, and a member of the elite Mountain Leader Cadre. Leaving the military to pursue a full-time career in the mountains, he joined the Jöttnar Pro Team, giving him the chance to pursue his ambitions for adventurous big wall climbs and alpine ascents in remote parts of the world, usually ending with a wingsuit descent.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
