Located in the iconic Templeton Building in the heart of Glasgow Green, WEST are the only UK brewery to brew all of its artisan lagers and ales in strict accordance with the German Purity Law of 1516. We use WATER, MALT, HOPS & YEAST - That's it! The only additive is the time and passion required to craft the perfect pint.
What started in 2006 as a quirky wee brewery, making beer to serve only its adjacent beerhall, is now brewing 25,000 hectolitres a year and supplies beer to over 3000 outlets across Scotland and beyond. We still brew all of our beer on Glasgow Green and our brewery tours are a great way to hear all about our story, see where it all began and, MOST IMPORTANTLY, sample our products along the way. If there's a beer lover in your life, they also make pretty great gifts too!
The original WEST brewery tour is an hour long guided tour which includes beer tasting. Advance booking essential.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
