We are delighted to announce the four exciting new productions that will make up our 2024 Summer Season.
Jane Eyre - Set in Scotland, this dynamic new adaptation of Charlotte Bronte’s classic novel, Jane Eyre, holds the same spellbinding magic that has captured the hearts of readers for generations, unravelling Jane’s story from her own uncompromising and passionate perspective in the beautiful setting of Glasgow’s Botanic Gardens.
Hedda Gabler - In the stunning surroundings of the Kibble Palace, Henrik Ibsen’s powerful drama, Hedda Gabler, makes its Bard in the Botanics debut in this new version by Kathy McKean, with award-winning actor, Nicole Cooper, in the title role.
The Merry Wives of Wishaw - Join us for a night of laughter under the stars as Shakespeare’s most riotous comedy is given a thoroughly gallus West Coast of Scotland makeover in this uproarious new production, The Merry Wives of Wishaw, where women have the last laugh, and men can get in the bin!
Measure for Measure - This mesmerising new production of Shakespeare’s powerful and timely story, Measure for Measure, is performed by four actors in the intimate surroundings of the Kibble Palace Glasshouse.
