By day Rekha Maker is an Architect based in Glasgow and by the weekend she works from her studio on the Southside of Glasgow. In a world where mass-produced homeware is ubiquitous and we are trying to mitigate throwaway culture, it is important to put a human spin on design. She hopes that customers can feel the love and care that has been put into making the pieces and is something that would sit as a timeless object in the home, rather than just a trend. Rekha recently designed and made The Scottish Artist of the Year Award.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
