Scotland's National Chef Gary Maclean will team up with Mharsanta for a celebration of Scottish produce on Saturday 7th May!
About The Mharsanta Celebration of Scotland with Gary Maclean
In celebration of the launch of Scotland’s National Chef Gary Maclean’s new recipe book – Gary Maclean’s Scottish Kitchen, Gary has teamed up with Mharsanta to put on a special gala dinner showcasing local Scottish produce.
Planned for Saturday 7th May 2022 from 6:30pm, the event will see the MasterChef Professionals winner put on an exclusive 5-course menu which champions Scotland’s rich larder of homegrown ingredients.
Guests will have a chance to chat to Gary on the night and purchase his new book, along with a dedicated signing after the meal.
The Menu
Cullen Skink / Glasgow roll
Roast celeriac Pearl barley / Carrots, pickled shallots and dill vinaigrette
Hand Dived Scallop / Stornoway Black pudding garlic potato and green apple
Roast Lamb / Haggis pie, peas, leeks, lamb fat potatoes, chanterelles and Arran mustard sauce
Gin and Red berry tart / Raspberry and heather honey sorbet
