A fashion show on the fracture between feminism and fabric.
Five strong women take to the stage in a catwalk like no other! Garments flow, stilettos break, hair is pulled up, let loose, let free! Jazzy moves, heartfelt stories and heart throbbing energy fills the room.
Fault Lines foregrounds the magnificent beauty in OUR differences! Using the familiar format of a fashion show, the women take us on a curated journey of perceptions, identity politics, feminism, joy and sorrow. And the soundtrack to all this is your choice!
Combining playfulness, movement and text, Fault Lines invites us to question our own assumptions in this powerful play of identity, equality and inequality in this time of tectonic shifts!
"Pure joy; and the sense of freedom that only comes when we bring our pure creativity to bear on the world around us, and succeed in shifting it, ever so slightly, on its axis." ★★★★ - The Scotsman
"Fantastic visual and audio feast- amazing performances and brilliant concept. Great to be able to flick between word and music" Audience feedback from 2020 tour
