Focussing on Grace, who cleans the houses of Glasgow’s undiscovereds - people who have died without anybody noticing, who lie for weeks or months before being found – and discovers a sinister link between two of her clients, beginning an investigation that will take her deep into the past, in Glasgow and the Isle of Bute, and closer to danger than she can ever imagine.
